Le presenti formule di conversione vanno applicate solo ai tori stranieri che non hanno nè indice italiano nè l’indice genetico Interbull.
Si ricorda che per convertire il dato estero nell’equivalente italiano la formula è la seguente:

IGT_ITALIA= a + ( b x IGT_ESTERO)

rg = correlazione genetica tra paesi per lo stesso carattere, rg<1,0 segnala la presenza di GxA,

Gli IGT per le percentuali vengono calcolati con i nuovi parametri fenotipici relativi agli animali che costituiscono la base genetica (vacche nate tra il 1999 e il 2001):

IGT Grasso % =
(100 x (IGT Grasso kg + 347) / ( IGT Latte + 9481)) - 3,66

IGT Proteina % =
(100 x (IGT Proteina kg + 315) / ( IGT Latte + 9481)) - 3,31

Production

The above conversion formulas must be applied only to those foreign bulls which do not have an Interbull proof or an Italian proof.
To convert a foreign index to Italian equivalent (IGT) the formula is:

IGT_ITALY= a + ( b x IGT _FOREIGN)

rg = genetic correlation between countries.

The IGT for percentages can be computed using phenotypic parameters related to the genetic base (cows born in 1999-2001):

IGT Fat%=
(100 x (IGT Fat kg + 347) / ( IGT Milk + 9481)) - 3.66

IGT Protein % =
(100 x (IGT Protein kg + 315) / ( IGT Milk + 9481)) - 3.31
