Following in-depth discussions in the Expert Advisory Committee and in the Board of Directors, ANAFIJ decided to allow only those born in Italy to participate in the 2020 National Exhibition.
This decision stems from ANAFIJ's desire to give impetus to the research and enhancement of a national heritage with a high morphological value not included in the exhibition circuit.
In fact, in Italian farms there are subjects with a remarkable morphological potential which are often not given the opportunity to compare on display.
Passionate breeders could search in Italy for interesting subjects from a morphological point of view, enhancing the selection work done by their colleagues.
Participation in exhibitions is important to highlight the progress achieved by the selected population, helping to establish an ideal model to which all breeders can draw inspiration.
