Additional Genetic Value for Animals Registered with the HB in the Event of Reimbursement

Normative requirements:

  • Resolution 22 November 2001 n°1130/BSE with which it was fixed, for Italian Friesian cattle of high genetic value, an additional to the average market value of the animals registered in the genealogical books shown in the Ismea bulletin
  • Ministerial decree of 20 July 1989, n. 298, laying down rules for the determination of the criteria for the calculation of the market value of the animals killed in accordance with the law of 2 June 1988, n. 218

The national average prices, valid for the purposes of reimbursements for Italian Friesian cattle, registered in the National Genealogical Book are fixed by adding to the average market price recorded by ISMEA (rank equal to 50) an additional so determined:

  • cows in lactation: € 42.35 (VAT excluded) for each rank point, from 51 to 99;
  • calves, heifers, and beef: € 13.94 (VAT excluded) for each point from 51 to 99.
