Bull K Casein Analysis

Since the Genetic Center has been in operation (1985), all the bulls destined for FA are destined for FA and have been tested for the K Casein genotype. Knowing which genotype is present in the genetic heritage of a bull is important for the breeder, in particular according to the destination of the milk: cheese production or fresh consumption. Sending the sample to the blood group laboratory, which tests the DNA of the bulls, is carried out routinely during the stay at the Genetic Center. The results are published on the bull's genealogical certificate and on the genetic report of the bull (what they are worth and specific publications).
