The Dairy Show 2023 will open its doors in Montichiari on 14 and 15 April, in a new format in which ANAFIBJ and AIA, in collaboration with FedANA, ANAPRI and the Regional Associations of Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto and Emilia Romagna, will be active organizing the international event. A qualified zootechnical exhibition with extremely specialized company stands, which aims to confirm that it is an important point of reference for the dairy cattle sector, where it is possible to exchange ideas and start solid commercial and international partnerships.
All of this will take place in the stables and inside the hall 6 of the Garda Exhibition Centre, where the ring will be set up with grandstands and various exhibitors will present the new products on the field: an exhibition of high-quality Holstein, Red Holstein, Pezzata Rossa and Jersey cows, combined with the best of Italian agriculture and animal husbandry, leaders in Europe and in the world.
The Animal Show is open to entries from all over Europe and the show will be judged by Cord Hormann from Germany, who is part of the EHRC panel of European judges and now has extensive international experience. The program includes the national final of the judging competition among agricultural technical institutes on the morning of Friday 14 April, in which numerous students will compete in the evaluation of Holstein breed animals, while in the late morning it will be possible to attend a collateral parade of subjects of Italian Pezzata Rossa, with the presentation of the breed and the relative judging competition.
The European Open Show for the Jersey breed will take place on Friday afternoon, while Saturday 15 April will be entirely dedicated to the European Open Holstein & Red Holstein Show, with the parade of heifers in the morning and, following in the afternoon, the cows and the final awards.
